I am delighted to announce that we will be hosting our UPP Awards on Thursday 27 July 2017 at Senate House, the University of London.

This will be the fourth event of its kind and is designed to reflect our values of partnership, innovation, community and responsibility as well as recognise the hard work that is undertaken every day in pursuit of these values. It provides an opportunity for us to celebrate the very best of UPP and most importantly you - the dedicated individuals and teams who strive to achieve the outstanding and extraordinary every day.

This year the UPP Awards categories and criteria have been updated to reflect Above and Beyond, our behavioural framework. The launch of Above and Beyond last year represented an important step in recognising that we need a strong team to help build the future of UPP. Putting the framework into action helps each of us fulfil our true potential and allows us to achieve our vision of delivering the very best student experiences in partnership with great universities.

You will also notice that we have added a Wellbeing award, reinforcing our commitment to a behaviour led approach to health, safety and environment. This also provides an opportunity to showcase the amazing efforts taking place since the campaign was rolled out.

The UPP Awards illustrate the fantastic work undertaken by each of you and it is important that we continue to harness these achievements and celebrate success. To this end I would like to take this opportunity to encourage you to reflect on the achievements of your colleagues and to take the time to nominate those that you feel deserve to be recognised and celebrated at this year's UPP Awards.
