The UPP Awards ceremony will take place in the evening on Thursday 25 July 2019 at Holywell Park Conference Centre, Loughborough University.
The dress code for the event is black tie and lounge suits. Gentlemen can wear black tie or a suit and tie. Ladies can wear a smart dress or trousers.
We have booked you accommodation at Elvyn Richards Hall on Campus. If you are arriving by train, taxis are available at Loughborough Station. You can also prebook a taxi with;

The Sprint bus goes from the station to the Pilkington Library bus stop on campus. The bus fare is £2.10 – cash only. The bus stop is a 5 minutes walk to Elvyn Richards Hall. A taxi or the bus takes approximately 15 minutes from the station to Elvyn Richards Hall.
By car put the postcode LE11 3UR for Elvyn Richards Hall into your sat-nav. Leave junction 23 of the M1, taking the A512 Ashby Road to Loughborough.
At the first roundabout, turn right into Holywell Way via the west entrance to the University. Follow the route on the attached map to car park 7. Free parking is available in car park 7 close to our accommodation, and also near Holywell Park where the Awards event is taking place. If you are driving straight to the event at Holywell Park please use postcode LE11 3GR.
The UPP Awards will be held at Holywell Park Conference Centre, Loughborough University.
The event starts at 6.00pm with a drinks reception followed by dinner and the Awards ceremony. The evening continues with music and dancing and will conclude at 12.00am. Last orders is at 11:30pm.
A cloakroom is available at the venue.
Black tie or suit and tie for men and smart attire for ladies – dresses, trouser suits or jumpsuits are fine.
Accommodation has been booked for you at Elvyn Richards Hall on Campus. You can check in at the Village Hub next to the Hall from 12 noon and check out is at 11am on 26th July.
Snacks and water will be provided in your room and tea, coffee and fruit will be available in the shared kitchens. Please note that hair dryers are not provided in the rooms so please bring your own hair dryer if you need one. Irons and ironing boards are available in the kitchens.
Due to the campus location, there are no options to purchase food or drink close by. Please factor this in to your plans for the day. Breakfast will be served in the Village Restaurant between 8am and 10am.
Transport is being provided from Elvyn Richards Hall to Holywell Park and then back to Elvyn Richards Hall at the end of the event.
Transport is available from car park 7 from 5:20pm onwards.
At the end of the night transport will be available from 11pm and will then continue to run until all guests are back at the Hall.
It is a 10-15 minute walk from the Hall to Holywell Park so it is possible to walk if you would like to do so. The route will be signposted.
Complimentary wine, beer and soft drinks will be served throughout the evening. There will also be a cash/card bar after the dinner with an additional range of drinks available for purchase. Last orders will be served at 11:30pm.
